The Cronin Residence is an extensive remodel & addition for a family in the foothills whose land is ideal with a house that doesn't take full advantage of the site. The project began by breaking the functions of the home down into it's individual spaces, crafting a specific response for each space and then stitching all of the components back together for a unified whole. The north end of the house opens onto a new pool area covered by a rigid canopy for shade during the intense summer sun and outdoor moving watching in the evenings. A new entry, guest bathroom, guest bedroom, garage and south exterior space complete the ensemble.
