Set just north of the rillito river on a low flat site the Zimmerman Kahn residence is a modern, desert appropriate dwelling for a young family. The design developed around the urge to create an environment that was simple & clutter free that allowed the family to escape the trappings of everyday life and escape back to a retreat focused around family. The core of the house contains the living room, kitchen, dining area, outdoor living room & pool. North facing, floor to ceiling glass allows the spaces to flow seamlessly from one to another and fills the space with natural light.
